When does the school day start?

Here at Graveney our school day begins at 8.30am.  A member of the senior leadership team will be in the playground to welcome the children into school from 8.30am. Registration closed at 8.45am (all pupils should be in school by this time). 

All our pupils are also welcome to join us for breakfast club; this opens at 7.30am and should be booked using our SchoolComms app. 

From September 2023, we increased our school day to ensure that the school meets the 32.5 hours of compulsory school per week. 

When do the children finish the day?

All our children are dismissed from the playground at 3.15pm.  Between 3.15pm and 4.15pm we offer a range of different clubs, some of which are free for children to attend.  We also offer our After-School Activity Club, which can be booked until 4.15pm or 5.15pm.

All clubs should be booked using our SchoolComms app.

Our Extended School Services

Please use our Breakfast and Activity club -All bookings can be made on the school app. 

Breakfast club is available from 7.30 am every day.  Our Activity club is available until either 4.15pm or 5.15pm (please book the length of session you require on our app). 

7:30 am - 8:30 am - £6

7:45 am - 8:30 am - £4.50 

3:15-4:15 pm - £5

3:15-5:15 pm - £9 

All bookable ad hoc (breakfast club by 2 pm the day before and after school club by 2 pm on the day).  

After-school clubs

These are all available for bookings on the school app or directly with the provider.  

For some clubs, we have limited numbers. If you would like to go on the waiting list, please speak with the school office, who will be happy to help you.
